Development Overview

    A Look at Professional Development

GCHRA’s Professional Development Committee (PDC) provides professional development opportunities to the membership and HR community. Program initiatives develop and expand core competencies and skills development for human resource practitioners or those who have related HR responsibilities.

Primary initiatives involve the SHRM Study Group, the HR How-To, annual recognition of Chapter members, and co-sponsoring programs with affiliated organizations.

For more information regarding the PDC, you can contact the GCHRA Office at 513.554.4747 or email Jennifer Payne, PDC Chair.

    Get Certified
Have you thought about becoming SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP or SPHR/PHR certified? Have GCHRA help you fulfill that personal and professional goal.

Each semester (February & September) we offer a SHRM/HRCI Study Group, which is instructed by members who are subject matter experts and have SHRM-SCP or SPHR credentials.

It is a great way to prepare for the test, build your confidence, build relationships, and have some fun while doing it!

For more information, check out the Certification section of this site, email the GCHRA office, or call 513.554.4747.
